Upgrade To Windows 10 For Free — YES!! You Can Still Get Free Upgrade from Windows 7 or 8
Link In Video
This video will help to solve this error on computers, laptops, desktops running Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 systems. Works on all computers and laptops (HP, Dell, Asus, Acer, Lenovo, Samsung, Toshiba).
How to Upgrade to Windows 10 for Free in 2020
Web site where you can upgrade to Windows 10:
Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 7. If you’re still running Windows 7, you’re at risk of attacks and viruses since there are no longer any updates or patches. Windows 8 and 8.1 are both still supported; however, since the upgrade is free, you might as well get onto the latest and greatest version of Windows.
On the web site under the Create Windows 10 installation media, click on Download tool now. This will download an exe to your computer. Click on this file. When finished, open the download and accept the license terms
Choose: ‘Upgrade this PC now’ then click ‘Next’
Choose ‘Keep personal files and apps’
Once installed, open: Settings — Windows Update — Activation to activate your Windows 10 digital license…
OR enter your (genuine) Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 product key if you haven’t previously activated your old version of Windows
If you’d like to check your license has successfully been activated afterwards, open: Settings — Update \u0026 Security — Activation.
Note: a Windows 10 license is tied to your hardware. As such, if you need to format your computer for any reason Windows 10 will reactivate automatically.
As full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee.

In this video, I demonstrate how you can still upgrade from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 for free in 2019 without the need to buy any licenses or product keys from Microsoft or some other third party Resellers. Following the steps accordingly is crucial to avoid ending up with an unlicensed Windows 10.
1. Check that your PC meets the minimum systems requirements for running Windows 10.
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor
1 gigabyte (GB) of RAM for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit
And a Hard disk space of 16 GB for 32-bit OS 32 GB for 64-bit OS
You are likely good to go on the Graphics card and display requirements because that hasn’t really changed from the previous edition of Windows. However for the processor, RAM and Hard disk space, I will recommend that you double up on these requirements for the effective running of Windows 10. So at least a 1.7 GHz processor, 2 gigabytes (GB) of RAM for 32-bit or 4 GB for 64-bit, and 20-gigabyte hard disk space for 32-bit OS and 30 GB for 64-bit.
2. Check that you have a licensed Windows 7 or 8.1, to do that simply go to your computer folder, and click on system properties. Then scroll down to where it says Windows activation. Now if for some reasons it still says activate windows now with certain number of day to activate, then you won’t be getting an activated Windows 10 at the end of the process. Here you should ensure it says, Windows is activated and that you can see this genuine Microsoft icon on the right end of the screen.
3. Ensure your laptop is connected to the internet at least once after you installed your Windows 7 or 8.1.
4. Download the Windows 10 media creation tool from this link: https://www.microsoft.com/fi-fi/software-download/windows10 then run and follow the rest of the instructions in the video to complete the process.

Upgrade Windows 7 or 8 to Windows 10, Free. Yes, this still works in 2020!
When you finish, you’ll have a fully activated and legit digital license for Windows 10.
Extended support for the Windows 7 operating systems ends January 14, 2020. Make sure you upgrade to Windows 10 so you have an operating system that is receiving security updates and patches.
Windows 8 extended support ends January 10, 2023, so while a few years away, upgrading to Windows 10 today will future-proof your computer.
The upgrade process for me took just a little over an hour and was relatively simple compared to the old days of installing operating system upgrades.
Watch the video for a quick play-by-play on how to upgrade to Windows 10.
